Kate Bosworth and her boyfriend James Rousseau come out to support their good friend, celebrity hairstylist Harry Josh at his 8th Annual Spring Fling Party held at The Private Roof Club and Garden at New York City’s Gramercy Park Hotel on Saturday night .

Kate was super sweet and talked a lot about her first love, equestrianism. The 26-year-old actress also was quite passionate about her new film project, Lost Girls and Love Hotels. Kate is producing the flick with pal Nadia Conners and considers this project her “baby.”

James chatted a bit about his music and how its now being mixed by a few people in L.A. He said he hopes to tour and play a few gigs soon!

Kate Bosworth and James Rousseau were seen in the VIP area at Cocachella Music Festival together on Friday night.

Paul McCartney opens the festival. The first day of the festival also featured Morrissey, Leonard Cohen, the Hold Steady, Franz Ferdinand and the Ting Tings. It drew a number of young Hollywood stars to this desert city southeast of Palm Springs.

Anne Hathaway was spotted in the VIP area wearing patterned harem pants and a cardigan, while actor Robert Pattinson, wearing skinny cut-off jeans, and Kirsten Dunst in a short-sleeve mini-dress. Chloe Sevigny and Zoe Kravitz were also spotted in the VIP area.

According to People, Kate Bosworth was seen flocking immediately to a back corner table safely out of view from clubgoers at Teddy's inside the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel. The actress sported a black lace vintage dress while hanging out with pals. According to a clubgoer, Bosworth seemed in her element, dancing to songs and letting her friends take pictures of her and the other ladies at the table.

There were no pictures though. And by the way it's been more than 2 weeks since we heard new news about her. I hope she is doing Lost Girls and Love Hotels now.

DailyMail wrote that Kate dumped James a month ago (We also last saw them together last month).

Kate’s spokesman insists they are still together but friends of the 26-year-old tell me she has been trying to keep the break-up under wraps.

‘Kate dumped James a month ago following fights over their work schedules,’ says a source.

‘She has insisted on remaining in Los Angeles to further her career but he loves England and didn’t want to move to LA.

'Kate is now telling friends she’s ready to date again.’

By the way, there was a rumor that said Kate is dating Ryan Kavanaugh (one of the producers of "21" / second man in the picture above) because they were seen together and so close twice. But a lot of people think that Ryan Kavanaugh is helping Kate to do her upcoming movie "Lost Girls and Love Hotels", which is in-production now.

Lost Girls and Love Hotels is in the works

Finally, Kate Bosworth is doing Lost Girls and Love Hotels!

It's a 2006 novel by Catherine Hanrahan (the third woman in the picture above)

Kate tells the New York Daily News, "I bought the rights to a book called Lost Girls and Love Hotels, and I've just had a wonderful writer adapt it."

"Now we're in the stage of finding a director and building it up from the ground up. It's a lot of work but we're going to do it."

Lost Girls & Love Hotels tells the story of a young woman who is trying to escape reality in the seedy excesses of Tokyo but is haunted by the disappearance of a Western girl.

The movie is slated to hit theatres in 2010.

By the way, Kate and Nadia Connors (the second woman in the picture above) wrote the script. And there was once a rumor said that Kate Bosworth will direct this movie. I guess, it's not true now.

According to someone from IMDB, on Monday (9th Feb) 'The Laundry Warrior' was renamed to 'The Warrior's Way'.

To mark 25 years of London Fashion Week, Elle asked four designers to create their own special ELLE covers. And one of the designers, Stella McCartney, chose Kate Bosworth as the cover.

According to (spn.edaily.co.kr/just-jangdonggun.com), Kate's latest "The Laundry Warrior" movie won't be released until August 2009. On 28th, a related personnel of the movie revealed that the US producer of “The Laundry Warrior” proposed to release the movie and is currently discussing the plan. The concrete release date will be decided after the preview of the movie in US in February. The change of movie title will also be finalised in the process.
