Kate Bosworth - ‘Stella McCartney Elle Magazine’ March 2009

To mark 25 years of London Fashion Week, Elle asked four designers to create their own special ELLE covers. And one of the designers, Stella McCartney, chose Kate Bosworth as the cover.

Stella said about the inspiration, "My cover is based on the Comic Relief T-shirt I have designed for this year's campaign, worn by actress Kate Bosworth and photographed by Mary McCartney. Every year Comic Relief helps so many deserving children, it really touches my heart. So this was a great opportunity to get more involved. For the design, I wanted to use iconic photographs and be cheeky about it. All the Comic Relief T-shirts are Fairtrade, organic and made in Africa, providing thousands of jobs for people in Africa. It's important to support people who are not as lucky and blessed as you. We should make a point to try and help."

The other designers are Dame Vivienne Westwood, Christopher Kane and John Galliano.

You can buy the magazine for just £3.50 (plus £2.45 P&P) by subscribing here or at selected WHSmiths stores and at LONDON FASHION WEEKEND
